I grew up in and believed and taught the rapture for years as a pastor. Until having read the Bible multiple times in multiple translations I realized the teaching takes its reference from verses taken out of context. After that realization I have taught and practiced never teaching based upon a single verse or chapter without teaching the full context in which it sits. I even narrated the Darby Bible for Audible, and could not make the pre-tribulational rapture idea reveal itself in the translation written by the man who formed so much of that idea.

The early believers understood the pattern of death, burial, and resurrection wasn’t just Christ’s personal story. It was the story of the Word itself.

“Christ, the power of God and the wisdom of God.” (1 Corinthians 1:24)

If Christ is the Word, then the crucifixion of Christ also foreshadows the crucifixion of truth—its distortion, rejection, and burial through time.

But what did Paul also teach?

“That He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.”

(1 Corinthians 15:4)

When I hear how almost all of the apostles were martyred, and remember Jesus praying to the Father for us….”not to take us out of the world but to protect us from the evil one…,” I have serious doubts about the rapture doctrine. He also said to not love our lives unto death.

I quit believing that lie years ago. It violates so many scriptures it isn't funny. Gen.1 Go, fuitful, subdue, take dominion. Acts 2. Greater than these. Ez. Waters rising to our necks (Holy Spirit) POURED out. Dan.2:35, 45. Uncut Stone destroys [feet of iron/clay][Iron is YOKE] all based on LOVE of money, that is our current Deep State Beast System. [fiat bucks, false contract, legal not lawful, false tax IRS system [voluntary, says in code] Jesus: Preach the Kingdom is HERE. As in NOW. AND if you add in the stolen One Enoch, who was translated, quoted by Jesus, Apostles, Jude, he prophesied over himself that his prophesies would be lost until the right time. One Enoch: In those days of the Tribulation, the righteous and elect will be living on the earth in the day of tribulation, when all the evil ones will be destroyed. ...The mountains shall shake, hills made low, earth rent in sunder, judgement upon all men, but with the righteous He will make peace, protect the elect and mercy shall be upon them. They belong to God, shall be prospered, blessed. He will help them all and light appear unto them. And Behold, He comes with ten thousands of His Holy Ones to execute judgement upon them (evil) all.

This is the stolen message that ties together every single other prophetic word concerning Subdue, Go, Greater, Water, etc., and more. Know also King James took out all references to the Ekklesia, which is God's Governing Legislative branch, the ones with the Queen Esther decrees to write, and Isa.22:22, Open gates no man can close, Close gates no man can open, and Kingdom is HERE as in NOW. But the judgement of Dan. must happen and it is NOW.

This is a tightly held secret, hidden in the shadows of religion and government. Yet, it echoes through prophecy and pattern. Christ already walks among us, cloaked in sorrow, bearing witness to a world inverted.

When spiritual inversion reaches its peak, Earth responds:

When spiritual inversion reaches its peak—when humanity inverts the very order of creation, calling good evil and evil good—the Earth itself responds. This isn’t mere metaphor. It’s a cosmic law woven into the fabric of our reality. Just as the body becomes sick when infected with lies, the Earth enters convulsion when civilizations collectively defy truth.

We are taught to believe that moral decay and geological catastrophe are separate categories—that the spiritual realm and the physical realm do not speak to one another. But ancient traditions knew better. So did our ancestors. They left us myths of floods, fire, fallen towers, and sudden resets—not to entertain, but to warn. When humanity crosses a threshold of inversion, the veil between the worlds thins. Time bends. The Earth’s magnetic field destabilizes. Poles shift. And with terrifying grace, the system resets.

This is the moment we are approaching. Signs are everywhere—technological hubris, societal collapse, the erosion of identity, and the rise of a sterile, inverted ethic masquerading as progress. These are not isolated symptoms. They are the birth pangs of the end of an age.

But not all is lost. From the ruins of every reset, a remnant rises—those who remained rooted in truth, who did not bow to the idols of the age. This remnant preserves the memory, the wisdom, and the divine spark. Through them, the covenant is renewed. Earth stabilizes. Life begins again.

This is the pattern of history. And it’s not just history—it’s prophecy.

And it’s coming soon.

It’s speculation you are passing off as biblical truth.

I did no such thing. I clearly spoke with my own authority and related it to actual doctrinal sources.

You have applied a filter to my own interpretation that contradicts your own, and may be experiencing cognitive dissonance rather than a genuine form of moral disdain.

I’m not claiming universal truth. This is merely the way I see it.

That should not be offensive to anyone….

Yeah but previously you were talking to a number of metaphysical and geomagnetic assertions and claiming it as direct biblical truth.

I can’t see how you can assert things that aren’t necessarily clear.

No one truly understands prophecy until it happens, and then it’s too late to do anything about it anyway

It’s my truth, and rooted in my own interpretation of metaphysical archetypes.

I overlay theology, philosophy, history and science and analyze them for potential overlaps. The patterns are becoming clearer, indicating the veil is thinning right now. This coincides with a major shift in the geomagnetic field.

Just like the inversion triggered reset itself, I am an anomaly within the system and resistant to the binary algorithms that sustain it.

What’s your specific problem with it, besides being “unclear” which only a means you are applying a different mode of analysis or wearing a different filter on your perceptual awareness?

Matthew 7:15-20 (ESV):

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?… Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.”

This teaches discernment based on outcomes, not appearances. A critical antidote to modern ideological inversion. When systems, leaders, or ideologies claim virtue but yield corruption, confusion, division, or spiritual decay, their fruits expose them.

Romans 12:2 (ESV):

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

This is a clear command to resist cultural conformity and instead pursue spiritual clarity and divine truth.

Isaiah 5:20 (KJV):

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

This is a direct condemnation of moral relativism and cultural inversion which is exactly what I’m describing: a world where truth is flipped, virtue is mocked, and sin is repackaged as virtue.

Other deeply relevant verses:

• Romans 1:25 (ESV):

“They exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator…”

• 2 Timothy 4:3-4 (ESV):

“For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions…”

• Ephesians 5:11 (NIV):

“Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.”

These passages map directly onto the spiritual crisis of our time; where truth is distorted by ideology, cultural trends override eternal principles, and deception is cloaked in progress.

My wife and I have been discussing this recently. She is Catholic and is a member of an online group led by nuns. They speak of some doctrine from the Apocrypha that says that Jesus will be born as a child again and walk among us at the end times. Do you know of this? I told her it was heresy and that the Apocrypha is not included in the canon.

Because it’s a total fabrication? Because the Bible is a book of 2 covenants not 7 dispensations? Because it was written for us not to us??? Because you finally understand the word of God? Because the apostles never preached a rapture???

If you are alive at the time, you will participate in the Great Tribulation. If you have already passed away, you will join with Jesus when He returns to Jerusalem. Yes, you will meet him in the air, the the battle of Armageddon.

In the twinkling of an eye is how the Bible says the rapture will happen. Beyond doctrines and everything else, we really should be ready because Jesus is coming back only for those expecting His return. And... As it was in the day of Noah (only eight people in the entire world then were saved).

I'd come across JND in my late teens, my Mom had a Schofield Bible when I was a kid - I mentioned it in a recent post (https://datchet.substack.com/p/wonder-drug-by-jennifer-vanderbes?r=1otfa7).

Before I was talking much, my parents had left a big US mission partly because of my Dad's a-millennial position. However, I hadn't realised quite how unusual the modern scene was, particularly in the US, until I read Martyn Whitlock (https://www.amazon.co.uk/End-Times-Again-Biblical-Prophecy-ebook/dp/B09W1DJFQS).

I suspect most evangelicals would be horrified to discover that CS Lewis wasn't into rapture or millennium. The Narnia finale (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Last-Battle-Chronicles-Narnia-Lewis/dp/000732314X) is pure a-millennial theology.

Thanks for this. Enjoy...

Pastor at Long Hollow in Tennessee has a good sermon on this. Raised Lutheran, I’d never heard about the Rapture until adult life when the Evangelicals spoke of it. That right there tells me something. All large denominations would tell of it if it had been believed through the years. Anyhow, here’s the link to the sermon.
